Venture Fellow Programs & Internships so how to start in VC – List of more than 70 programs

If you don’t know how to start and what’s a good way to approach the VC market, I recommend starting from the very beginning and learning step by step about this exciting world of startups investing by joining fellowship or scout program.

It’s a long process and it usually takes a few months to break into the space but the time you spend on learning and practising the craft is the best you can do while searching for your dream company.

You can try it out, put your skin into the game, do some real work and spend a few weeks with experienced investors.

The student status is not always required and the programs are wide open to no particular background.

They have different enrolment dates and they are run during the year so you need to check them out and see which one is good for you or what time during the year would be best to take on an additional job.

They are flexible when it comes to the time commitment but if you want to make the most out of the experience, you will probably spend a minimum of 10-15 hours per week.

Some of them are paid (internship type), others can share carries but most of them are non-paid but you can use them for credits at school (if that’s something that you would like to do).

It’s a great opportunity to try out different markets, verticals and figure out which area and what stage of the companies excite you the most as well as build your network in the startup ecosystem.
